Story
Since meeting Lucy's parents Rachel and Martyn on Saturday 4th July 09 I have wanted to support Hope House. Lucy had cerebral palsy and died at Hope House on 24th July 09 aged 9 years. For the last two years I have run 10k distances for charity. This year I wanted to take the next step and run the half marathon in tribute to Lucy. Please support this great cause. Jon EllardUpdates
I did it
12th September 2009A big thanks to everyone who sponsored me. I completed the half marathon in 2 hours and 3 minutes, so chuffed to bits.
It was the hardest thing I have ever done and I still have not recovered.

Realisation
1st September 2009The weekends excess of cider and cheese is a distant memory and the realistion that I will running for two hours on Sunday has hit me.
Tonight will be a 30 minute run with my longest run planned for tomorrow morning.
